Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior React UI/UX Developer who combines strong frontend engineering skills with a deep understanding of user experience principles. You will build scalable, performant, and accessible web applications while collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop responsive, accessible React applications following modern best practices.
- Design and implement reusable component libraries and design systems.
- Translate wireframes and Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, interactive UIs.
- Manage application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, or Context API.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints; handle async data flows efficiently.
- Implement client-side routing using React Router and code-splitting for performance optimization.
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress (E2E).
- Conduct and participate in UI code reviews, enforcing consistency and quality standards.
- Optimize application performance: bundle size, lazy loading, memoization, and rendering efficiency.
- Collaborate with UX designers to conduct usability reviews and translate feedback into product improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and promote frontend engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience building production-grade React applications.
- Expert knowledge of React (Hooks, Context, Portals, Suspense) and the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Proficiency with TypeScript for type-safe, maintainable frontend codebases.
- Experience with state management libraries: Redux / Redux Toolkit, MobX, or Zustand.
- Strong CSS skills: CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, or similar.
- Experience with build tools and bundlers: Webpack, Vite, or esbuild.
- Solid understanding of REST API consumption and GraphQL (Apollo Client or similar).
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) and translating designs to code.
- Proficiency with Git, code review workflows, and agile/scrum methodologies.
